Honda is one of the top auto makers in the world. The company's headquarters is in Tokyo. The company began in 1946. Soichiro Honda started his company by making motorbike engines. But he got started by opening a motorcycle repair shop in Japan. His motorbikes became super popular in Postwar Japan. In 1949 Soichiro found a backer for his new company. Takeo Fujisawa became the business man. In 1949 Honda designed its first motorcycle. It was called the Dream Type D Motorcycle.
Now decades later it they keep making great motorcycles. Throughout the years they have remade and revamped their bikes to keep up with the trends. In the 50's Soichiro wanted to make his bikes even better for racing. He was an avid racer himself. Now Honda makes plenty of leisure bikes as well as racing bikes.
Now Honda makes over 40 different models of motorcycles. Their Touring and Sport Touring models are great for when you want to get out on the open road and see the world.
